Remineralizing Tooth Powder

I have recently been looking into the topic of teeth remineralization and thought i would share my thoughts on a product I have been using for the past 3 weeks and i really believe it is the Best Remineralizing Tooth Powder Available anywhere.

But before i get to that i want to make sure you understand the basics of what teeth remineralizing is and how it works.

However if you are in a rush and just want to see the Best Way To Remineralize Teeth please scroll down to the Orawellness Shine Remineralizing Powder and see it in action, You Wont be Disappointed!

So lets get started …

What is Tooth Remineralization?

This is a natural process that occurs in the oral cavity, whereby the calcium and phosphate ions are sourced to promote ion deposition into crystal voids in demineralized enamel.

In other words when the mouth has healthy levels of saliva, it will break down any starchy carbohydrates that you consume and will allow phosphates and calcium to flow around your teeth which will keep the teeth nice and healthy and hard.

What is:

Calcium works in partnership with phosphorous to help build and repair bones. you need the right amount of each for proper growth and bone health especially for maintaining strong teeth structure.

Vitamins K2 and D Are Critical For Your Teeth

Take High amounts fat soluble vitamins K2 & D. They will do wonders. This is because Tooth decay is a nutrition problem first and a hygiene problem second.

Calcium does not naturally Remineralizing Tooth Powderknow where to go to help out once inside the body. Vitamin K2 helps calcium be directed to wherever it is needed the most.

It activates a protein called osteocalcin which promotes the repairing of bone tissue together with calcium.

It also activates a protein called matrix GLA protein which is responsible for going around the body picking up calcium from soft tissues, where it doesn’t belong.

For example our arteries can get clogged up because of this, which is one of the reasons of heart diseases.

The full effects of K2 can only be activated if it is paired with the Vitamin D. Vitamin D’s main function is to increase calcium absorption from the gut and transport it to the vital bone tissues (including Teeth).

Which foods promote remineralization?

  1. Grass fed meat and poultryRemineralizing Tooth Powder
  2. Fresh Fish
  3. Dark leafy greens such as spinach
  4. Apples
  5. Avocados
  6. Green tea

What Is Demineralization?

This occurs when the superficial layer of teeth start to dissolve i.e the enamel starts to wear away. when this happens, you will notice frosty white marks appearing on the lower part of the teeth.

You might have already guessed the causes of this, one of the main ones being the excess amounts of acid that circulates the mouth. This is caused by a couple of things:

  1. Accumulation of bacterial plaque
  2. Exposure to acids found in foods and drink.
  3. Poor dental hygiene

 Which Foods Promote Demineralization?:

  1. Processed foodsRemineralizing Tooth Powder
  2. Sugary drinks
  3. Bread
  4. High Glycemic index foods such as cornflakes and rice cakes

You should really be avoiding the above foods as overtime they will damage the enamel on your teeth.

I know it’s really hard to get rid of food that is not good for you, but if you do this over a long period of time, things will become easier to avoid.

Best Remineralizing Tooth Powder In My Humble Opinion

Remineralizing Tooth Powder

Unlike other products that are more prone to damaging teeth enamel, the primary intent behind OraWellness shine is to first and foremost remineralize our teeth.

Once your minerals are restored, then and only then can we focus on the secondary priority of Shine: Gently encourage a brighter, whiter smile.

How Does This Remineralizing Tooth Powder Work?

The strategies that Shine utilises are taken from natural sources which is why it is so powerful. let’s see what they are:

What Ingredients Are Involved And Is It Safe For My Mouth

The product has 3 main ingrediants that it portrays as being essential to the remineralization process.

I had to search them up and read about them to get a better understanding.

I can say after reading up on the ingrediants, they are 100% legitimate.

Number 1: MCHA

Remineralizing Tooth Powder

Microcrystalline hydroxyapatite (MCHA) is the main ingredient and the name itself gives us a clue as to why this is.

Microcrystalline means a small particle which is in crystal form. This is a good thing because our teeth are more or less living crystals, the crystalline form is perfect for what we intend to use it for.

The tiny size is essential for it to activate the minerals so they can be used to rebuild tooth enamel.

hydroxyapatite is the naturally occurring mineral form of calcium apatite. upto 70% of human bone by weight is made from this mineral, so you can see why it is so important to teeth health.

Number 2: Non GMO, Birch Based Xylitol

Remineralizing Tooth Powder

Xylitol is produced from birch trees found in north America and plays a critical role in delivering bioavailable minerals to the areas where tooth decay is present.

Xylitol supposedly amplifies remineralization by helping to ensure MCHA is delivered where it’s needed most.

The non GMO is really an added bonus as people are becoming more aware of the hazards GMO products can cause.

Number 3: Calcium Lactate

Remineralizing Tooth Powder

This mineral is commonly used as medication to help reverse the symptoms of calcium deficiencies. This used in conjunction with Xylitol will enhance the remineralization effect.

Did you know that some manufactures add calcium lactate to chewing gum containing xylitol. The reason being it speeds up the teeth healing process.

Proof of this is a study which was done on 2 groups of people. one group was the control specimens and the other group were given chewing gum containing xylitol + calcium lactate for 4 times a day for 2 weeks.

After the 4 weeks were up the results were calculated using x ray spectrometry and they found that teeth remineralization was greater when chewing gum on a regular basis.

These are the main ingrediants which do the majority of the work but if you want the full list of ingrediants you can visit the:

Everyone i have spoken to and the reviews i have read suggest there is no issue regarding the safety of the product and because it has been extensively tested i would have no problem using it.

Weather it works for you is a whole different question which i will be addressing in a bit.

What Do Other People Think Of Shine Remineralizing Tooth Powder

Most people who buy this almost always leave a comment for everyone else to look at. These are useful indicators we can all use to make our own decision weather it is worth giving a go.

Let me give you a couple of good reviews and a couple of bad reviews just to put things intoRemineralizing Tooth Powder perspective.

Whats Good

hardly anything to clean at last dental cleaning

“I’ve been using shine for about 2-3 months now. I use the healthy mouth blend and then dip the same brush in the shine and brush again. At my last dental visit/cleaning the hygienist said she didn’t have very much to clean and keep doing whatever I’m doing. There was also a huge positive change in my gum pockets which can be attributed to better nutrition(low sugar intake), Ubiquinol use, wisdom tooth removal, and the use of the orawellness products along with their wise advice on nutrition! Thank you Orawellness!” Published by Shannon

Teeth whiter, sensitive spot on tooth too soon to tell

“My husband has noticed a definite whitening of his teeth. I still need some more time to see if my teeth are brightening. I also have a very sensitive spot that seems to be less sensitive. But I need more time to tell for sure. Published by Kyung L

Whats Bad

I’m on the fence

“The first week or so I used it I noticed that my teeth were shiny and they looked whiter. I’ve been using it for over a month and my teeth don’t look any whiter and they’re not shiny. They really looked pearly. I can’t use regular toothpastes b/c I’m allergic to them, they make the mucous membranes in my mouth swollen and irritated. The tooth powder doesn’t do that. But the tooth powder doesn’t freshen my breath but leaves me with a stale taste. I can’t use mouthwash so I make a mouth rinse out of a couple of drops of HealThy mouth blend. I would like to use the 30Second Smile electric toothbrush but I’m not sure how the toothpowder will stay on the bristles after applying it. In order to keep the toothpowder on the bristles of the Bass toothbrush I have to keep the brush level otherwise some falls off before I put the toothbrush in my mouth. I like the HealThy Mouth blend but it doesn’t help with whitening my teeth. So I guess I’ll use both. They are the only tooth products in which my mouth doesn’t get swollen or irritated. So thank you for your products. Any pointers for whitening without damaging would be appreciated.” Published by Georgie G

The Jury is still out, but..

“I don’t know if Shine is doing what it’s advertised to do yet, haven’t used it long enough. My palate hates Xylitol just as much as it hates cilantro, so Shine gets every other day use for brushing. I do make the paste for trouble areas every night, but it tastes really yucky to me. I accidentally swallowed it one night and was nauseous to the point of vomiting within 15 minutes. Fortunately a small piece of ginger stopped that quickly. I was also a little dismayed to see how small the container was for the price. All that said, I will use the bottle up to see if Shine remineralizes. Wish xylitol was not an important ingredient though. If my sensitivity is reduced I’ll probably buy Shine again just for that result.” Published by Angela E
